Breaking the tension, you reel back, preparing your next spell. The first strike has been initiated and you are in the middle of combat. Dark, sinister creatures, beasts, and undead roam the swamps and forests of Barovia, wishing nothing but ill intent and violence upon you. Raise your shields, sharpen your swords, gather your spell components. They won't go down easy, not without a fight. By the end of this night, your clothes will be soaked in blood. See to it that most of the blood isn't your own.
